A visit to the tower available again
A visit to the stunning lookout tower is now available again. You are welcome to get moving on the 240 stairs that lead to the viewing platform: Enjoy the view of the colorful landscape from the 53,5 m high lookout tower. On the ground floor one can visit a restaurant, buy souvenirs or get information at the information point. Around the tower, the local culinary and wine offer is available at the little houses.
Opening hours
MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST: 9:00 – 19:00 (every day)
APRIL, SEPTEMBER: 10:00 – 19:00 (every day)
MARCH, OCTOBER: 10:00 – 18:00 (every day)
NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY: 10:00 – 17:00 (every day except on Mondays)
*The tower is on holidays open.
Vinarium – A View on the Wine-growing Area of Lendava
St. Martin`s Day is usually celebrated as a traditional event with hikes, the christening of must (young wine), and various fun events in the wine-growing area of Lendavske gorice.
Unfortunately, this year`s events turn out to be anything but traditional.
This time we took the chance and looked from the highest observation tower in Slovenia on the traditional viticulture and winemaking in Lendava. We “enriched” the wines of winemakers with a digital version and presented our winemakers and winegrowers in online video presentations.
You are most warmly invited to see the story of the Lendava wine-tourist road that will surely enchant you with its colorful background of the autumn scenery.

Vinarium Tower sees record attendance in August
Lendava’s Vinarium Tower set a new attendance record this year as August became the month with the highest number of visits in the tower’s five-year history.
2nd September marked the five-year anniversary of the opening of the Vinarium Tower, which has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. It recorded 18,246 visitors in August this year, 3,000 more than in the same period last year, bringing the total over the five-year period to 446,000.
After reopening in May, Vinarium was visited mainly by individuals from Slovenia, but also by families and small groups, who were additionally motivated by the possibility of using tourist vouchers during the holiday season.
Now we are trying to attract visitors with additional programmes. In mid-August, a special dining experience on the viewing platform was prepared, which attracted a lot of interest and sold out in four days.
The opening hours for the Vinarium observation tower: 11th-13th August
Dear Visitors of the Vinarium Tower! Due to the event Dinner with a View, which will be held at the Vinarium tower, the opening hours for visiting and viewing the tower will be slightly shorter and adjusted in the following terms:
- 11th August: from 9:00 (a.m.) until 3:30 (p.m.)
- 12th August: from 9:00 (a.m.) until 3:30 (p.m.)
- 13th August: from 9:00 (a.m.) until 3:30 (p.m.)
In the before mentioned terms, it is only possible to visit the tower during the opening hours, from 9:00 (a.m.) until 3:30 (p.m.).
The same opening hours apply for the coffee shop at the tower.
We kindly ask you for your understanding.
Apart from the stated dates, the tower will be open from 9:00 (a.m.) until 8:00 (p.m.) hour, this also applies for the 15th August, the national holiday day.
